About the Bupa UK Foundation

The Bupa UK Foundation's purpose is to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. As a charitable foundation we fund practical projects which aim to tackle critical challenges in health and social care and make a direct impact on people's health and wellbeing.

Our funding programmes are developed around clearly defined themes and focus on important factors that underpin good health, including mental health, ageing well, the prevention of long-term conditions, and behaviour change to improve health and wellbeing.

We also have a strong interest in addressing health conditions that can affect everyone, such as heart health, cancer, Type 2 diabetes and dementia.

Mid-Life Mental Health was the theme of our first funding programme. Applications for funding through this programme are now closed but you can find out about some of the projects that received grants here.

We will be announcing the theme of our next funding programme towards the end of June.
